Eurovision fans often complain that Australia shouldn't be The Sex Factor Episode 8 Playing With The Prosincluded in the contest -- after all, it's not a European country. But on Saturday, the country was centre stage after a prankster interrupted the show.

Here's what went down (under). While last year's winner, Jamala, was performing her number, an enthusiastic man wearing an Australian flag somehow got himself onto the stage. He then proceeded to moon everyone. Fun!

Initially, it was thought to have been an Australian hooligan causing havoc. But it turns out, it was Ukrainian prankster Vitalii Sediuk. In not fun news, he is now detained in a Ukranian prison.

The internet, predictably, went wild following the incident. (Worth noting: many people watching Eurovision had been drinking for a while at this point.)

Man, American television suddenly seems really boring.

UPDATE: Monday, May 15, 10:56 a.m. AEST: The mooning man has been identified as Ukrainian prankster Vitalii Sediuk.
